Outdoor Furniture Specialist
Allan Cancil more than 10 years of experience in furniture sales and design and enjoys selling patio furniture because so many people in Colorado love the outdoors!
Carol brings over 15 years of professional experience in luxury and fine art sales, marketing and design. Her unique perspective has been fueled by her extensive world travel, which includes living and working in Paris, France. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado and is a single mom to two grown children. For Carol, Larrabee’s has proven to be an excellent match in product and philosophy.
Georgia has over 15 years of design experience. She feels that ultimately, what makes a good design project for a client is a very personal thing. There is no scientific formula to follow or magic wand to wave. Good design is an aura of positivity for most people. She feels one needs to listen to their story in order to create that magical space. For Georgia, it is always about what is important for the clients and their personal needs.
Janice is an interior designer who brings decades of sales experience to Larrabee’s. She has been involved in a number of Parade of Home projects in the Denver and Copper Mountain areas. Understanding and helping the client achieve the feel and look for the areas in question is her goal. She has traveled to many countries which has helped expand her creativity and imagination. Patience is a strong point for Janice and she attributes it to being the mother of four grown children.
Nancy thrives on connecting with people and has an innate ability to listen and translate what she hears into spaces that reflect your style and character. She makes the sometimes overwhelming task of home design a fun and informative experience. In-home consults are her favorite way to ensure that your design flows elegantly from room to room. With excellent computerized space planning skills, complete room measurement, fabric and color consultation, and artfully placed accessories, Nancy can ensure that every detail has been well thought out. Having worked extensively with local home builders and traveled world-wide, Nancy understands how our environment and life experiences contribute to the character and ultimate feel of our homes.
Senior Design Consultant
Sheryle is a native of Colorado and brings her natural gift for creativity blending texture, color and flow to Larrabee’s. She is known for her incredibly positive spirit, her enthusiasm, and her love of people. It is her mission to establish a close working relationship with her clients, listening carefully to make sure that she creates environments that complement and suite the lifestyle and personality of the client. Whether the room is formal or casual, traditional or modern, accessibility and comfort are a must. Sheryle has a flair for selecting great new pieces while incorporating objects and furnishing you may already own and treasure. "Everybody wants to live in a great space. I help them get there.”
Susie Harling left an eighteen-year career in education to study Interior Design at Colorado State University. She developed her client following in well-known Colorado furniture stores, including Fossil Creek Furniture Galleries, Homestead House, Whitney’s, and Lauren Brooks. Since 1999, Susie has worked as an independent designer at the Denver Design District. Susie loves the challenge of working with clients to clarify their specific wants, likes and dislikes, and ultimately helping them formulate a design plan that incorporates furnishings to suit their lifestyles. Susie prides herself on creating environments for her clients that are harmonious in style, beauty, and comfort. As a designer, Susie’s greatest joy is a happy customer. The products and vendors represented in Larrabee’s Furniture + Design are impressive, and Susie is excited to help clients take advantage of this great resource in home furnishings.
Senior Design Consultant
Valerie’s degree is from the University of Iowa with advanced studies from Arizona State. Her continuing education in design was recently done at Front Range Community College under global designer Cynthia Peacock. Valerie has 16 years’ experience in the home furnishings industry and has worked on commercial and residential projects. She taught music education and volunteered with the Junior League previously. Valerie offers on-site complimentary house calls and specializes in tailoring the projects to her client’s needs and budgets. She is a mother of three. Her hobbies are playing clarinet, cooking, and exercising.
